HUBS/TOOL HOLDER
A hub or tool holder is a specialized device used to secure or hold the debarker arms in a debarking machine. It is crucial that the hub or tool holder securely holds the debarker arms in place to prevent them from coming loose or falling out during use, as this could be dangerous and affect the quality of the work. We manufacture and create various types of hubs and tool holders for a wide variety of debarking machines in different sizes. One of our many features is a grease fitting on our tool holders (not available for the hubs). This fitting provides a means of lubricating the moving parts of the tool holder, which helps to extend its lifespan and improve its overall performance.
LEVERS
A lever is a tool used to adjust or release the tool holder mechanism. The lever may be located on the tool holder and is typically used to open or close the debarker arms. Sometimes, the lever may be adjustable, allowing the user to fine-tune the tension or pressure applied to the debarker arm. This tuning can help achieve optimal cutting performance and reduce the risk of damage to the tool or the log in the debarking process.
